Delta ModTech Joins Summit on Adhesives for Wearable Medical Devices

Beginning September 17, 2024, Jason Zajac, CEO and founder of The Tape Lab, will host a multi-week virtual summit: How Expertise in Adhesives Fuels Medical Device Breakthroughs.

Zajac, an adhesive solutions expert with more than 20 years of experience, will be conducting interviews with 17 industry insiders from a range of fields related to adhesives. Among the experts participating in the summit is Delta ModTech’s own Todd Westover.

“Todd will be a great resource to understand the critical role that machinery and tooling play in the manufacturing of intricate parts for wearables,” says Zajac.

How the summit will work

The summit will feature pre-recorded interviews and webinars from all participants. Each day, those who have opted in to view the summit will receive an email with a new session.

Why watch the virtual summit

A major goal of the summit is to grow a collaborative community among adhesive industry experts and wearable medical device engineers. In addition, “You’re not going to get all that information for free from anyone in the industry,” says Zajac. “It’s really going to enhance your knowledge of the industry.”

Delta ModTech’s role in the wearable medical device industry

Delta ModTech has been manufacturing medical and pharmaceutical machines for more than 30 years. Our machines can achieve incredibly tight tolerances, execute cutting and patterning techniques that minimize material waste, and utilize vision tools for precise measurement of part quality and compliance.

According to Zajac, “I’ve been in this industry for 20-plus years, and no one makes a machine as good as Delta. It’s like the Cadillac of all machines within our industry.”
