Delta Hosts Local Robotics Camp

June 2023, Delta ModTech welcomed a Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs® camp sponsored by PMMI to a lunch and learn event which included a tour, lunch, and machine demonstrations. This visit combined fun with the opportunity for students to learn about the different careers open to them if they are interested in robotics and machine design.

The camp students, who are currently in 5th – 8th grade, enjoyed the exposure to the technologies that are used to manufacture products we use in everyday life, these products included bandages, automotive gaskets, and RFID tags.

Todd Kruse, an Electrical Controls Engineer at Delta ModTech, was the camp leader and is also the Legacy High School Robotics Coach. Members of the team acted as the camp leaders sharing their robotics club experience, and encouraged them to get involved when they get to high school. Delta ModTech sponsors several robotics teams in  Minneapolis, MN. It continues to be an exciting way to give back to the community and motivate the future workforce.
