Battery Coating and Converting Demo
This video demonstrates the advanced electrode coating and converting capabilities of Delta ModTech machines. We take a battery slurry all the way through production to create a roll of converted electrodes. The first machine is the DynaCoat®, a state-of-the-art, small footprint, compact coater and dryer. Using patch-coating and a proprietary drying process, we produce electrode patches of the battery slurry on an aluminum foil substrate. Next, we laser-etch the roll of electrodes using Delta’s Crusader® Converter with IR EDGE® Laser Technology and then rewind the roll.
