Helping manufacturers create advanced wound care products
World-class machines to convert complex, multi-layer parts—plus industry expertise to optimize production.
Successfully manufacturing wound care tape, dressings, and related products means overcoming a range of challenges—from the difficult materials and extremely tight tolerances to the stringent, time-consuming validation requirements.
Delta ModTech does more than design and build machines to solve your toughest manufacturing problems. We also provide expertise to improve your production process and even offer validation services for faster speed to market.
Machine capabilities to meet the ever-evolving demands of your wound care production lines
Machines like our Delta Crusader® Rotary Converter and our Packaging and Pouching Systems provide production-critical capabilities for wound care products. They’re also compatible with an extensive range of in-line add-ons. In addition, our engineers have free rein to adapt, customize, and redesign machines so they meet your specific needs, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Discrete part placement
Our patented Island Transfer and Island Placement modules enable you to meet the exceptionally tight tolerances that wound care products demand.
Packaging and pouching
As an integral step in your production, our customizable pouching and packaging modules are designed for speed, flexibility, and consistent seal quality.
Code printing
Because code printing is integral to your validation requirements, our machines are capable of reliably and accurately printing on individual items for complete traceability.
Vision inspection systems
You can ensure only the highest quality products make it to market with our advanced vision inspection systems and accompanying rejection gate options.
Clean-room compatibility
Since wearable medical products must be manufactured in a sterile environment, our machines are built and designed for placement in clean-room environments.
Machines with a proven wound care product track record
Advances in wound care products go hand-in-hand with the evolution of healthcare. For more than 45 years, Delta ModTech machines have played an integral role in producing a wide range of wound care and related medical products:
- Adhesive bandages
- Hydrocolloid dressings
- Advanced foam dressings
- Advanced film dressings
- Nonwovens dressings
- Wound dressings
- Wound care management patches
- Wearable devices

Wearable Sensor Demo
This video highlights our capabilities for converting wearable sensor patches such as glucose monitors. The demo places both nonwoven and polyester materials in a registered die cut. Our vision inspection system provides closed-loop feedback for die-cutting and overall part dimensioning. Capabilities showcased include die-cutting, island placement, vision inspection, and shingling conveyor.
ECG Converting Demo
Similar to a wide range of wound care products, the multiple ECG electrode parts in this video need to be joined to ultimately create a single product. We take an adhesive layer and join it with foam to create an ECG electrode and place it on a release liner. Capabilities showcased in this demo include lamination, die-cutting, island transfer, and shingling conveyor.
